We had no shortage of space while shooting “Coat Tales” (p. 90) in the cavernous environs of The Symes, a new event venue in Toronto’s Junction ’hood.

HIGH TIMES

Where does the ELLE Canada team go when we want to celebrate? Sometimes only a rooftop resto with killer views of Toronto will do. We couldn’t quite see into Drake’s penthouse from Lavelle, but we did feast on chef Romain Avril’s locally sourced French/Asian cuisine. Also, cocktails (duh).
