The Weather Was on Our Side!

The Weather Was on Our Side!

NOW WE’VE ALL COME TO KNOW THAT HOLDING A show toward the end of February in Texas certainly has its variables, but the weather this year was the weather we all have been praying for!

Every year in early spring, the baddest trucks coast to coast converge centrally in Conroe, Texas. What’s become known simply as LST started quite a few years back as a humble gathering of a couple hundred trucks getting together in Texas. Since then, the

Lone Star Throwdown has become “The Show” to attend and has blown up to the point of almost 3,000 trucks, with all pre-registration spots selling out months beforehand.

We made the trek to hang with our buds from all over the country and see the best of the best trucks all gathered in one central locale. With the weather on our side for once, it was smooth sailing. The Negative Camber crew that throws LST has quite the support system and it definitely shows. A giant gathering with tens of thousands of people, hundreds of the biggest vendors from all over the country and thousands of rides, it would not be possible without a great group capable of organizing and keeping the madness in check.

Absolutely one of our favorite events of the show year, we actually saw quite a few killer F-100s to photograph as well as fields full of classics. Fords are really gaining popularity among the custom truck crowd, and you know we definitely aren’t complaining! See you out there next year, and keep the prayers coming for great weather year after year.
