him some freedom over the build. When it comes to these trucks, KC definitely knows his way around them, as he grew up building classic Fords and has turned into quite the expert in churning out badass bumps.

In this case, they opted to go for a modern twist with a timeless classic. First thing that always needs to be addressed is the chassis and suspension, basically the foundation to the build. Reaching out to Rob over at No Limit Engineerin­g, they got the chassis sitting perfectly and riding even better using the No Limit wide-ride IFS and fat bar rear four-link.

Once the foundation of the build was set, it was time to move to the powerplant. An easy choice is the Ford Performanc­e 5.0 Coyote coming out of the crate with 435 hp. It’s one powerful motor, but KC didn’t stop there; he knew this one needed just a little more attitude. Adding a 2.9L Whipple supercharg­er woke up the motor and pushed it to over 675 hp. To put the power to the ground, they opted to go with a Hughes Performanc­e 4L80 with custom gearing. Out back is a Ford 9-inch with a Detroit TruTrac and

3:70 gears.

Once the chassis and drivetrain were all figured out it, was time for KC’s specialty: making the body perfect and laying down some paint. KC enjoys adding slight touches to the body while keeping it subtle to where the factory classic lines are retained.
