Pandemic not hurting faith
Navigating the Covid-19 crisis has strengthened the faith of many people according to a Pew Research Poll. While only 3 per cent of respondents are attending in-person worship services, 24 per cent report their faith has strengthened through the pandemic, including 42 per cent of Evangelicals. Only 2 per cent say their faith is weaker. Nearly half of respondents said their faith remains unchanged, while 26 per cent say they are unreligious. Women were much more likely than men to say their faith has grown (30 and 18 per cent respectively). Black respondents saw the largest boost in faith (41 per cent), followed by Hispanics (30 per cent) and whites (20 per cent).
