Nalle Hukkataival Sends First-Ever V17

Nalle Hukkataival made the first ascent of his “Lappnor project” in Finland on Oct. 23 and named it Burden of Dreams V17 ( 9A). Some of the world’s best climbers had attempted the short and burly problem on razor crimps. After his send, Hukkataival said, “Having achieved the first ascent of Burden of Dreams marks a new level in my climbing. With a handful of existing V16 boulders in the world, proposing V17 is the logical step.”
