Cirro The Petzl Cirro is a big and strong taco-style pad for solo boulderers or groups. The standout feature is the three-sided zipper that doubles to keep the straps clean with a f lap when the pad is in use. The zipper is durable, but needs to be kept clean or won’t perform well. The backpack straps are some of the best on any bouldering pad. It has two layers of closed-cell foam around layers of open cell foam to make a dense landing zone. Petzl even added straps that convert it into a chair to be used after the session. All features aside, it is one of the best pads to fall onto from high above the ground.
