Leslie Timms Sends The Acid Crack

Ontario-based Leslie Timms climbed one of America’s classic crack test-pieces in February. The Acid Crack 5.12d was f irst top-roped by John Bachar and later sent by him. After her send, Timms said, “I’m high as a kite right now because I just sent The Acid Crack, known as the Bachar testpiece of Joshua Tree. I f inally let go of fear, doubt, pressure, frustration and felt nothing but freedom.” In 2014, Timms ticked her f irst 5.14 with an ascent of Magnum Opus in Nevada.
