Scarpa has upgraded the Booster, one of its more precise shoes. The Booster is perfect on small footholds on steep terrain. There is a new tension rand similar to the Furia Air, keeping the shoe downturned and asymmetric. The plastic midsole is now nearly the full shape of the rubber sole piece, which means it will be stiffer on edges. The upper now has a ceramic microfibre which is a thinner material and abrasion resistant. While these are amazing for sport climbing, the heel and toe rubber make them ideal for burly boulders.
