Earthlings: Exhibition and Artist Talk

After supporting a month-long residency in 2016 for ceramic artists John Kurok and Pierre Aupilardjuk from Kangiqliniq (Rankin Inlet) at Medalta museum, gallery and arts facility in Medicine Hat, AB, the IAF was pleased to attend the opening of Earthlings at the Esker Foundation in Calgary this January. The exhibition features works created at the residency alongside other ceramic work from Kangiqliniq, works by Shuvinai Ashoona of Kinngait (Cape Dorset) and works by Shary Boyle, based in Toronto.
