His story is one of overcoming incredible odds. From poverty, parental alcoholism and life on the streets, Randy Taylor has gone on to assist some of North America’s largest companies. Now, after more than 25 years of connecting with audiences all over the world, this motivational speaker on human potential and leadership is bringing his message to the third annual 50+ Entrepreneurs Forum. Presented by CBDC West Prince Ventures, the forum will be held Tuesday, April 19, at the Rodd Mill River Resort. The theme this year is, “Turning Skills into Business.” The free 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. program will provide participants with many opportunities to engage with presenters to ascertain information that will assist them with decisions concerning starting a new business or expanding an existing one. Other presenters include John Hamblin from Halifax and his daughter, Christine. Hamblin, a seasoned presenter to older adults on entrepreneurship and a 2015 recipient of the Atlantic Canada Senior Entrepreneur of the Year Award, is co-founder of Start Up Canada.
