This year’s Postmedia Raisea-Reader day, an annual event held in Canada to raise money for literacy programs, is rapidly approaching. This year’s date is Wednesday, Sept. 28. Across Prince Edward Island, employees of The Guardian and the Journal Pioneer, along with many local officials and personalities, will be out early in the morning raising funds for literacy programs across the Island.
