A mixed bag of rugby

The P.E.I. Hunter’s Ale House Mudmen division three team battled Moncton in a backand-forth game, but lost 28-26 in the Maritime rugby final Saturday in Charlottetown. The contest included four lead changes in the last 20 minutes of the game. Moncton tied the game with one minute remaining and the kicker made the twopoint convert for the win. On Sunday, the division one squad rolled over Enfield 23-5 in the Nova Scotia Senior Men’s Rugby League semifinal and now play the Halifax Tars in the Nova Scotia final Saturday in Halifax.
