O’Leary Council discusses budget

O’LEARY – Town council here moved its regular monthly meeting on Feb. 9 to 5:30 p.m. to allow time for councillors to make the scheduled 7 p.m. meeting of the Westisle Family of Schools. A storm, however, forced the postponement of the Westisle meeting, which was part of the provincewide school review process.

After moving through an abbreviated monthly meeting in a little more than a half an hour, councillors applied the extra time available towards working on their 2017 budget, which will be presented next month. The school review meeting was held on Feb. 21.
