PERRY, ALBERT A.
The funeral for Albert A. Perry, beloved husband of Lucy Perry, was held Tuesday February 27, 2017 from the West Prince Funeral Home to Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road where funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. Albin Arsenault assisted by Rev. Brendan Gallant. Rev. Albin Arsenault delivered the homily and had the prayers of final commendation and farewell. The first reading and prayers of the faithful were read by daughter-in-law Cheryl Perry. The second reading was read by granddaughter Madison Perry. Processional hymn was “Amazing Grace”. Psalm was “Rest In God Alone”. Offertory hymn “Je Croix En Moi Dieu” sung by granddaughters Robyn and Holly Perry accompanied by their mother Leona Perry on guitar. Communion hymn “I Watch The Sunrise”. Granddaughters Robyn and Holly sang “Come To The Water” with Leona on guitar. Farewell song was “Song Of The Angels”. Recessional hymn was “How Great Thou Art”. Altar servers were grandsons Colin and Matthew Arsenault and Roy McKenna. The offerings were carried to the altar by granddaughters Emma and Katie Marchbank. Eucharistic ministers were Mat and Jean Roop and Stella Allain. The urn was carried by son Robert and picture by sons Lester and Lee. Attending the funeral where representatives from Tignish Co-op and Home Hardware, Tax Centre, Old Dutch Foods, Loblaw, DVA Nursing Staff and Community Hospital. The eulogy was read by daughter-in-law Bernice Perry at the reception. Interment will take place at a later date.
