GAUDET, REGINALD

The funeral for Reginald Gaudet, beloved husband of Juanita Gaudet, St. Louis, was held Thursday February 23, 2017 from the West Prince Funeral Home to Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road where funeral mass was celebrated by Rev. Albin Arsenault who also delivered the homily and had the prayers of final commendation and farewell. The first reading and prayers of the faithful were read by Lesa Maksymchuk. The second reading was read by son Troy Gaudet. The church choir sang under the direction of Velda Gallant accompanied by organist Anita Doucette. Processional hymn was “By Name I Have Called You”. Psalm was “Psalm of the Good Shepherd”. Offertory was “God Gives His People Strength”. Communion hymns “I Lift Up My Soul” and “Go Rest High On The Mountain” a solo by Alphy Perry on guitar accompanied by Stephen Perry on violin. Farewell was “Saints Of God” and recessional hymn “How Great Thou Art”. Altar servers were members of Knights of Columbus Brent Costain, Willard Mokler and Austin Bernard. Eucharistic ministers were Alanna Shea, Angela Arsenault and Audrey Callaghan. Attending the funeral were members of Palmer Road Knights of Columbus and HAB Club. Pallbearers were Colin Arsenault, Brennan Gaudet, Gavin Gaudet, Michael Shea, Kirk Shea and David Pendergast. Flowerbearers were Shay Gaudet and Becky Gallant. Interment will take place at a later date in the church cemetery.
