Spotlight School of Arts has fundraiser Saturday.

Spotlight School of Arts is offering little ones a chance to dine with a princess or superhero this and next weekend.

Spotlight’s Pancakes, Princesses, and Superheroe­s event happens in Summerside area this Saturday and in Charlottet­own next Saturday, March 11 and 18. Meet Elsa, Anna, and all their princess friends, who have brought Spiderman, Captain America, and a few other superheroe­s to the party. Guests are invited to “take pictures, make memories, and eat pancakes.”

This is the third year for the Spotlight fundraiser, which has rapidly grown into their most popular event.

Spotlight School of Arts Inc. is a not- for- profit performing arts school in Summerside and Charlottet­own. They have been providing classes in acting, dance, musical theatre, and improv for people of all ages for the past seven years.

Their annual Theatre- arts Showcase is coming up in June, and this summer, they will be putting on “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” as a part of their Be In a Musical Summer Camp program. Pancakes, Princesses and Superheros is in Summerside at the Linkletter Community Centre March 11 from 8 to 11: 30 a.m ., and in Charlottet­own at the Farm Centre on March 18 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are online www.spotlights­choolofart­s.com, or at the Spotlight Studio at 251 Heather Moyse Dr., Summerside.
