The death occurred peacefully while surrounded by her loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Tuesday, March 21st , 2017 of Mary “Emily” Cahill (nee Clow) of Summerside, aged 80 years. Emily was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to her late parents Leonard and Margaurite (nee Gallant) Clow. Beloved wife of Willis “Bill” Cahill and loving mother of Michael (Jacqueline) of Slemon Park, Barbara Cahill (James) of Everett, Mass., U.S.A., Mitchell (Kelly) of Summerside, Leonard (Amanda) of Summerside, Ron (Marcia) of Charlottet­own, John (Nora) of Alberton and Cindy Bedard (Keith) of Edmonton, AB. Also lovingly remembered by her 16 grandchild­ren, 5 great-grandchild­ren and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers Raymond Clow of ON. and Milford (Una) Clow of Summerside and her sisters Alma Drouin of Edmonton, AB., Elaine Heckbert of ON., Carolyn “Kay” Szydlik of Calgary, AB. Besides her parents, Emily was predecease­d by her grandson Dougie Cahill, her brothers Leonard “Junior” Clow, Ernie Clow, Bennett Clow and sisters Cecilia Drapeau, Helen Walsh and Irene McDonald. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, March 24th, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Donations in Emily’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Associatio­n or the Canadian Breast Cancer Society would be greatly appreciate­d.
