Summerside police investigate armed robbery
The robbery occurred at Subway on Water Street Saturday evening
Summerside Police Services are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Subway on Water Street, Saturday at 9:15 p.m.
A man entered the store demanding money, and showed the employee what is believed to be a handgun. He then left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured. The suspect is a black male, stocky build, approximately 5’10’, with some facial hair. At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing an orange hoodie underneath a black coat and light blue baggy jeans. The orange hood covered his head and part of his face.
