GALLANT-GAUDET, MARCIA VIRGINIA

The funeral for the late Marcia Virginia Gallant- Gaudet of the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home O’ Leary, was held on Monday, March 20, 2017 from the Rooney Funeral Home Alberton, to St. Anthony’s Church Woodstock, P.E.I. where funeral mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Danny Wilson who delivered the Homily and had the prayers of final commendation and fairwell. The Pall was draped over the Casket by son Terry and daughters Pauline, Marlene and Betty. The first reading was addressed by granddaughter, Krista Gallant Phelan. The Second reading was addressed by granddaughter, Kim Gallant Nowlan. The prayers of the faithful were invited by granddaughter, Karla Gallant Savone. The Eucharistic ministers were, Yvonne Wedge, Aldona Gallant and Jean Bulger. The Crucifer was James Clement and the candle bearers were Don Jones and Leith Bulger. The choir was under the direction of the organist, Danalee Veinotte. The processional hymn was Here I Am Lord. The psalm was The Lord is My Shepherd. The offertory hymn was The Peace Prayer. The Communion hymn was Hail Mary-Gentle Women. The meditation hymn was God Of the Mountain. The song of fairwell was Songs of the Angels. The recessional hymn was We Shall go out Singing. The Pallbearers were, Wendell Gallant, Troy Ellsworth, Barry Blanchard, Paul Gallant, Darren Blanchard. The flower bearers were Ray Nowlan, Ricky Blanchard, Tommy Gallant. Everyone present for the funeral liturgy were considered to be Honorary pallbearers. Interment later in the Parish Cemetery.
