The death occurred at the Margaret Stewart Ellis Home, O’Leary on Sunday April 16, 2017 of Calvin Butler, Alberton aged 81 years. Beloved husband of

Eleanor Butler

(nee Inman).

He was born in Ebbsfleet on

May 17, 1935, the son of the late George and Winnifred (McCormick) Butler. He is survived by children Gordon Butler, James Butler, Ann Vincent (Edmond), Mary Vincent (Dean), April Butler (Alex), Leo Butler, Nancy Wells (Pat), Sandra Gagne, Scott Wells (Judy). Dear grandfathe­r to Kim Millar (Ricky), Krista Allain (Shawn), Brandi Butler, Curtis Butler, Bobbi-Jo Vincent, Becky Vincent (Gary), Stephanie McArthur (Tyler), Danielle Rice, Destiny Arsenault (Michel), Desiray Wells, Lukas Adams (Seawna), Logan Adams and 18 great grandchild­ren. He is also survived by brothers and sisters Maynard Butler, Freda Wedge, Shirley McKay, Freddie (Agnes) Butler, Harry, Edward (Agnes) Butler and Leo Butler (Joseph). He was predecease­d by his first wife Kathleen (nee Ellsworth), sister Jean, brother Maurice, brothers-in-law Alyre Wedge, Ralph McKay, Everett Wedge, sister-in-law Adeline Butler and daughter-in-law Janice Kelly. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road, Palmer Road for visiting hours Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m. Funeral will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place later in the church cemetery.
