Registering rugs for heritage project
Four of the volunteers with the P.E.I. Heritage Hooked Rug Registry at the end of a successful day in Summerside recently. Anne Lockhart (from left), Rebecca Wellner, Sharon MacLeod and Paula Kenny, all from the Island Matters Rug Hookers, took part in the registration. The rug registry project will travel to communities across the Island this spring and fall. Upcoming dates include: April 22 in Charlottetown, April 29 in Cambridge, May 6 in Kensington, May 27 in Souris, June 3 in Alberton, June 15 in Cardigan, June 17 in Orwell Corner, and June 24 in Tracadie.
