Oak Acres Children’s Camp is looking for Counsellors-inTraining for this upcoming summer 2017. Counsellors-inTraining (CITs) are students aged 14-16 who help supervise, plan events, and lead activities for campers between the ages of seven and 12, depending on the session. This position is ideal for anyone with an interest in the outdoors, leadership, and creativity. For more information see guidance.
Grade 12 students, as you start to receive bursary or scholarships, take a copy to Marsha. Western Hospital in Alberton and Community Hospital in O’Leary have volunteer positions available, including: information desk clerk, mealtime setup helper, musical entertainer, friendly visitor, gardener, and more. Hours you contribute can be counted toward the Community Service Bursary.

Grade 12 Information
The Father Ellsworth scholarship ($500) is available to students from Palmer Road parish. Application forms can be picked up F. J. Shea & Sons (Frankie’s) in St. Louis.
Students who are members or parents are members of the Tignish Co-op you can pick up bursary applications at the Coop, complete the application, and hand it back in to them. Deadline is May 30.
If you or your family are members of the O’Leary Co-op, sign up in guidance for the O’Leary Farmers Co-op bursary.
In partnership with P.E.I. Agromart and Island Lime, the P.E.I. Federation of Agriculture offers a scholarship of $2,000 for the 2017/18 academic year. The link to the scholarship can be found at: http://peifa.ca/wp-content/ uploads/2017/04/2017-scholarship-application-form.pdf. Deadline is June 1.
