The Strathgartney Equestrian Park will host P.E.I.’s celebration of National Horse Day.

The Strathgartney Equestrian Park in Bonshaw will host the P.E.I. celebration of National Horse Day on June 3 – a day packed with fun events. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be various horse demonstrations, activities for all ages, food and beverages on site, vendor and riding stable displays, photo opportunities, face painting, a colouring contest and more.

Presented by the P.E.I. Island Horse Council and P.E.I. Health and Wellness, Horse Day is a free event, showcasing horse and rider demonstrations, with numerous booths from clubs and stables. Activities will be for kids, teens, and adults.

This year marks the ninth anniversary of Horse Day, which was created to raise public awareness and celebrate the importance of horses in our history while watching horse sport demonstrations. Across the country, events and celebrations will take place on June 3 to allow Canadians of all ages and experience levels to honour, discover and explore the equestrian world.
