CORMIER Joseph Hubert

The funeral mass for Joseph Hubert Cormier of Summerside, P.E.I., beloved husband of the late Alma (nee Arsenault) Cormier was held on Wednesday May 3rd, 2017 from the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside by Father Danny Wilson. The Pall was placed by his sisters Ella Caissie and Marguerite Gallant. The Readings were read by Kevin Arsenault and Michelle James. The Gospel was proclaimed and the Homily was delivered by Father Wilson. The Prayers of the Faithful were all led by his daughter Doreen Cormier. Hymns sung by members of the church choir were: “To You, O Lord, I lift My Soul ”, “Blest Are They”, “Take and Eat”, “J’irai La Voir Un Jour” and “Amazing Grace”. Organist was Tanya Bernard. Cross bearer was Ivan Blanchard; candle bearers were his daughters Doreen, Roma, Laura and Janet; incense bearer was Harold Murphy; and ushers were Pat McKinnon and Sherren Arsenault. Pallbearers were his sons Edward, Earl, Elvin, Lorne, Brian and Roger. Flower bearers were his 13 grand daughters. Interment took place in the church cemetery with Father Wilson officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside.
