SMITH Lucy Lorena (Coughlin)

The funeral service for Lucy Lorena (Coughlin) Smith was held on Wednesday, May 10th, 2017, at the Summerside Baptist Church. The service was officiated by Pastor Cory Somers who gave a wonderful tribute to Lucy. Jeanette Pauptit played the musical prelude and the hymns “My Heavenly Home” and “The Lily in the Valley”. Family friend, Elaine Duchesne from Stony Plain, AB sang “Amazing Grace”. Niece, Stephanie Dorgan Palsm 23, The Lord is My Shephard. Her daughter, Wanda read a poem that was written in memory of Lucy by her sister-in-law Marion Williams. Pallbearers were her nephews Garth Coughlin, Clayton Coughlin, Everett Coughlin, Wilfred Smith, David Williams, and family friend Woody Pauptit. The interment took place in Summerside People’s Cemetery with Pastor Somers officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside.
