4-H members recognized at provincial selections.
The P.E.I. 4-H Provincial Council held its annual provincial selections drawing club members from across the province to compete in events including skill demonstrations and public speaking categories.
There were also panel interviews for scholarships as well as national and international opportunities for the upcoming year.
Club members also learned if they were chosen to represent P.E.I.
Grace Hughes (North River 4-H Club) and Nicolle MacDonald (Grand River East 4-H Club) will represent P.E.I. at the National 4-H Dairy Conference in Madison, Wisconsin. Brandon Malone (Morell 4-H Club), Kimberly Bain (Dunstaffnage-Marshfield 4-H Club), Megan Vanderkloet (Dunstaffnage-Marshfield 4-H Club), Rhea Gallant (Cavendish 4-H Club), Sophie MacDonald (Grand River East 4-H Club), Nicolle MacDonald (Grand River East 4-H Club) and Bryce Doiron (Pleasant Valley 4-H Club) will attend the 4-H Canada Citizenship Congress held in Ottawa in 2018. Bryce Doiron will also represent the Island at the U.S. National 4-H Members Conference held in Washington, DC.
