Mulligan, Larter key Kensington win

STRATFORD – Elizabeth Mulligan and Jenna Larter keyed a Kensington victory recently. Mulligan scored the game’s lone goal while Larter registered the shutout in Kensington’s 1-0 decision over the Hillsborou­gh United.

The Stratford Soccer Complex was the site of the Subway P.E.I. Under-15 Girls Soccer League (Premier Division) game.

Bradley records shutout for Stratford

STRATFORD – Avery Bradley registered a clean sheet as Stratford topped the Summerside United 4-0 in a Subway P.E.I. Under-15 Girls Soccer League (First Division) game recently. Callie Trainor scored two goals while Olivia MacLennan and Chloe Hawes added single tallies to account for Stratford’s scoring.

Stratford led 1-0 at halftime.

Moore sparks Summerside offence

SUMMERSIDE – Connor Moore ignited the Summerside United’s offence.

Moore scored four times to lead the United to a 7-1 decision over Central Queens in a Subway P.E.I. Under-13 Boys Soccer League (First Division) game at Eric Johnston Field recently.

Brett Arsenault, Evan Aylward and Aaron Carr also scored for Summerside, which struck for six unanswered second-half goals. Jakob MacDonald netted the lone goal for Central Queens.

Hughes top scorer in tie between under-13 boys’ teams

WINSLOE – Nolan Hughes netted a hat trick for the Sherwood-Parkdale Rangers in a recent Subway P.E.I. Under-13 Boys Soccer League (First Division) game.

Kayden Schneider also scored for Sherwood-Parkdale, which played to a 4-4 tie with Winsloe Team Two.

Josh Wyand (2), Ziyad Salaman and Allan Wang countered for Winsloe.
