COPPLE, JACQUELINE ANNE (NEE CLARK)

-

1947 – 2017

Jacquie finished her last chapter and peacefully laid down the book of life at the Rockyview Hospital, in Calgary, AB on July 14, 2017. It was a wonderful read, albeit for the past 10 years, a challenging one. Her first chapter began in Alberton, P.E.I., and later chapters were added at the Montreal General School of Nursing, and then Calgary during an almost 5 decade nursing career. Family and friends were a constant theme. With husband Peter, Jacquie so enjoyed writing, editing and proof reading the separate chapters of her daughter Nicole (Shane) Stephensen and son, Jon. Grandchildren, Noah and Cameron (up over the equator) and Isabela and Jack (down unda) were constant and adored inputs to the text. Her father Jack Clark and sister Maxine had closed their own books previously; however, her mother Irene and sister Lisa (Brian) Dallin continue to write. Tireless research and plot support was provided from dear friend, Diane. Indeed, the appendix is replete with wonderful, caring and treasured life time friendships and long standing acquaintances. The epilogue, as written by Jacquie, invites those who knew her to a celebration of her rich, detailed, and entirely moving story which will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 (6-9 p.m.) at Heritage Park (Wainwright Hotel), 1900 Heritage Dr. SW, Calgary, A.B. There is one endnote thanking all the caregivers who made the last chapter possible. Jacquie’s book was freely shared, but if you want to pay forward your copy, donations may be made to the Southern Alberta Myeloma Patient Society (SAMPS). Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting leydens.com.
