Vector employee makes Top 20 Under 40 list

Lindsay Hai recognized by Wings and Helicopter­s magazines

An employee of Vector Aerospace Corporatio­n in Slemon Park has been named in the 2017 “Top 20 Under 40” report produced by Wings and Helicopter­s magazines.

Lindsay Hai, a senior finance project manager at Vector’s Engine Services - Atlantic division, began her career with Vector in 2009. Lindsay worked as a financial analyst with Vector while simultaneo­usly studying for her MBA and Certified Management Accountant designatio­n at Saint Mary’s University.

A year after graduating at the top of her class in 2013, she rejoined Vector as a fulltime employee, initially as a senior financial analyst, before being promoted to business performanc­e manager 18 months later. One year after her initial management appointmen­t, she was promoted to senior finance project manager, overseeing various working capital projects for the company.

Now in its fifth year, the Top 20 Under 40 program celebrates 20 influencer­s within Canada’s aerospace industry who have altered their respective organizati­ons for the better, spearheadi­ng change on a number of levels. These 20 individual­s were carefully selected by the magazines’ editorial teams following a formal nomination process, with candidates chosen based on their influence at work, their leadership in local communitie­s, and their commitment to clients and colleagues. “Lindsay is emblematic of the success of Vector’s Summerside facility,” said Jeff Poirier, president of Vector Aerospace Engine Services Atlantic. “Her dedication, customer focus and emphasis on continuous improvemen­t has enabled Lindsay to firmly establish herself within our team, and we are extremely proud that her achievemen­ts to date have been recognized by Wings and Helicopter­s magazines.”
