Up in smoke

-

New Brunswick is giving peace officers the authority to charge people with smoking violations, not just issue warnings.

I have taken my grandson to playgrounds and people smoke cigarettes.

I want these people charged and fined. I want these people to explain to a judge why they lack the intelligence and common sense to not smoke in front of pre-school aged children and young school aged children.

I want all municipal police and RCMP to have the same authority. The number of people charged for smoking will prove that the province isn’t doing its job by refusing to fund a cessation program for smokers.
