Arsenault, Gallant each record three hits

Summerside trims Western in bantam AA contest

Adam Arsenault and Parker Gallant swung hot bats for the Summerside Team One Chevys.

Both players posted 3-for-3 batting summaries, with Arsenault connecting for a triple and Gallant’s summary also including a double, in leading the Chevys to a 15-3 decision over the Western Mariners.

The P.E.I. Bantam AA Baseball League game was played at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Legends Field recently. Jonah Gallant (2-3), Connor Murphy (1-2, double) and Brett Ballum (1-2) were Summerside’s other top batters.

For Western, Alex Arthur (1-2) and Braedeon Milligan (1-1) were tops at the dish. Mackenzie Matheson registered the pitching win over Clay Smallman.
