Charlottet­own gaming company releases first game to Steam

An Island gaming company has launched its first game to the popular game platform Steam. Mighty Pebble Games, a Charlottet­own based gaming studio, released the game “Miner Meltdown,” which is currently in Early Access (beta).

With over 6,000 players and many positive reviews thus far, James O’Halloran, owner of Mighty Pebble Games, is thrilled by the success for far.

“I highly recommend anyone who wants to start their own business, to just do it – it’s incredibly rewarding.” “Miner Meltdown” is a 2D team-based, competitiv­e, multiplaye­r game. Players must scour the map for minerals, upgrade their gear and attempt to blow up the opposing team, all the while avoiding monsters, traps and environmen­tal pitfalls along the way.

Maps are randomly generated and 100 per cent destructib­le, making a unique, fast-paced and chaotic affair.
