At the Inspire Learning Centre, 57 Central St., Summerside. 1 p.m., Aug. 17 Symposium The Community Museum Association of P.E.I. and the West Country Historical Society will be holding a Symposium at the Bideford Parsonage Museum entitled “What Does Canada 150 Mean to You?” What would you collect to tell the story of Canada in another 100 years? Everyone is welcome. We invite people to bring their own artefacts and stories to share. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Admission is Free.

2-4 p.m., Aug. 17 Book sale Friends of the Kensington Heritage Library host at the former Kensington Welcome Center (in the Railyard). Used book sale is in aid of programming at the library. Price is by donation.
