James Barker Band joins Meghan Patrick and JoJo Mason on concert series
The Road to Cavendish Concert Series is continuing and organizers are excited to bring three Canadian country music artists to the East Coast this January.
Fresh off of their recent gold certifications for “Chills” and “Lawn Chair Lazy,” the James Barker Band is excited to announce their national tour with CCMA Female Artist of the Year / CCMA Rising Star Award Winner Meghan Patrick and special guest Jojo Mason.
“This last year has been a crazy and humbling ride. Now we’re excited to come celebrate with country music lovers from coast to coast and our good pals Meghan Patrick and Jojo Mason. This is gonna be one for the ages,” said Barker.
The James Barker Band has had a record-setting year since the release of their first single “Lawn Chair Lazy” in May 2016, which was the highest debuting Canadian Country single of all time as well as recently being certified gold.
James Barker Band followed up with their sophomore single “Just Sayin’”, and the No. 1 and gold-certified single “Chills”.
In addition to their recordsetting year, the James Barker Band has opened dates for Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osbourne, and Dean Brody. Since being signed to Warner Music Canada, and releasing her debut album “Grace & Grit,” Meghan Patrick has shared the stage and toured with the likes of Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Tom Cochrane, Kip Moore and Dwight Yoakam, and has played such events as the Calgary Stampede, Havelock Jamboree and the Cavendish Beach Music Festival.
“I’m really excited to team up with my great friends and take this show coast-to-coast! It’s going to be a party!” explained Meghan Patrick.
Joining the tour as a special guest will be 604 Records / Sony Recording Artist Jojo Mason whom recently celebrated his fourth consecutive Top 10 single, and is one of the most infectious entertainers in the country.
The Road to Cavendish: The Game On Tour with James Barker Band and Meghan Patrick with special guest Jojo Mason general on-sale begins Thursday, Sept. 28.
