The funeral for Doris Caseley, of O’Leary, for­merly the Brae, beloved wife of the late Charles Caseley, was held on Saturday, Septem­ber 23, 2017 from Fer­gu­son Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary to Brae United Church where the ser­vice was held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bethe Cameron of­fi­ci­at­ing. Lov­ing words of re­mem­brance were of­fered by Doris’ grand­chil­dren, Angela Caseley and Daniel Caseley and a read­ing by Les­ley Caseley. The scrip­ture read­ing was from John 14 of­fered by grand­daugh­ter, Vaunda Caseley and Corinthi­ans 13, of­fered by grand­daugh­ter, Char­lene Palmer. Or­gan­ist, Es­ther Oul­ton, led the con­gre­ga­tion in singing “I’ll Fly Away” and “In The Gar­den”. Soloist, Ju­nior Boy­lan sang a spe­cial song “So Stop And Thank The Saviour To­day”, which was writ­ten by Charles Caseley. The hon­orary pall­bearer was Al­lan Ma­cLeod, as well as ev­ery­one in at­ten­dance. The pall­bear­ers were Kevin Ma­cLeod, Daniel Caseley, Justin Palmer, Justin Rogers, Steven Tur­geon and David Gal­lant. The flower bear­ers were Karen Ma­cLeod, Robyn Caseley, Jenna Gal­lant, Joanna Palmer, Ja­clyn Caseley Walker and Christo­pher Tur­geon Caseley. In­ter­ment fol­lowed in the Brae United Church Ceme­tery.
