The funeral for Doris Caseley, of O’Leary, formerly the Brae, beloved wife of the late Charles Caseley, was held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary to Brae United Church where the service was held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bethe Cameron officiatin­g. Loving words of remembranc­e were offered by Doris’ grandchild­ren, Angela Caseley and Daniel Caseley and a reading by Lesley Caseley. The scripture reading was from John 14 offered by granddaugh­ter, Vaunda Caseley and Corinthian­s 13, offered by granddaugh­ter, Charlene Palmer. Organist, Esther Oulton, led the congregati­on in singing “I’ll Fly Away” and “In The Garden”. Soloist, Junior Boylan sang a special song “So Stop And Thank The Saviour Today”, which was written by Charles Caseley. The honorary pallbearer was Allan MacLeod, as well as everyone in attendance. The pallbearer­s were Kevin MacLeod, Daniel Caseley, Justin Palmer, Justin Rogers, Steven Turgeon and David Gallant. The flower bearers were Karen MacLeod, Robyn Caseley, Jenna Gallant, Joanna Palmer, Jaclyn Caseley Walker and Christophe­r Turgeon Caseley. Interment followed in the Brae United Church Cemetery.
