The funeral for the late Theodora Marie (Dora) Perry formerly of Alberton, wife of the late Albert W. Arsenault and the late William T. (Bill) Perry was held on Tuesday afternoon November 7, 2017 from the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel Alberton, to the Immaculate Conception Church palmer Road where funeral mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Albin Arsenault who delivered the Homily and had the prayers of final commendati­on and fairwell. The pall was draped over the casket by grandsons, Scott Arsenault, Benjie Arsenault, Darren Arsenault and David Arsenault. The first reading a reading from the Book of Ecclesiast­es, (For everything there is a Season) was addressed by step son Terry Perry. The second reading A reading from the first Letter of St. John (We will see God) was addressed by Mary Bernard. The prayers of the faithfull were invited by Gail Shea. The Eucharisti­c ministers were Stella Gallant and Helen McKenna. The crucifer was Austin Bernard and the candle bearers were Bernadette Gallant and Stella Gallant. The Immaculate Conception funeral Adult choir was under the direction of Velda Gallant. The organist Anita Doucette. The procession­al hymn was, Come to the Water, The psalm was, The psalm of the Good Shepherd, The offertory hymn was, By Name I Have Called You, The communion hymn was, Peace Is Flowing Like a River, The song of fairwell was Songs of the Angels The recessiona­l hymn was, How Great Thou Art. The pallbearer­s were Scott Arsenault, Benjie Arsenault, Darren Arsenault, David Arsenault, Jason Perry, Brayden Arsenault. The flower bearers were grandchild­ren, Joni Arsenault, Reese Arsenault, Denver Arsenault, Emery Arsenault. Everyone present for the funeral liturgy were considered to be Honorary Pallbearer­s. Interment was in the church cemetery with Rev. Albin Arsenault officiatin­g.
