Gaudet ignites Wind

Forward records five points

Hillarie Gaudet was on fire for the Western Wind on Thursday night.

The forward recorded five points – four goals and an assist – in leading the Wind to a 7-2 win over the Central Storm in a P.E.I. Midget AAA Female Hockey League game at Credit Union Place’s Ice Pad.

The Wind, who built period leads of 5-1 and 7-2, also received goals from Gracyn Handrahan (1-1), Josee Gallant (1-1) and Taylor Gillis. Tianna Gallant, Erin Arsenault-Gallant, Aly Hustler, Keira MacKendrick and Ashton Grigg added assists. Kerry Aiken and Katelyn Drake replied for the Storm, with single helpers credited to Jess Turbide and Katelyn Doyle. Danielle Gallant earned the goaltending win.
