Fatal vehicle rollover

Alberry Plains – A 34-yearold Georgetown area man was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle rollover, and his passenger, a 33-year-old woman from Charlottetown, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Kings District RCMP responded to the accident on Route 3, Alberry Plains and the intersection of Glenco Road, on Friday at 8:15 p.m. The coroner’s office and the RCMP continue their investigations, and a traffic analyst who attended, completed a scene examination.

Road conditions were ruled out as not being a factor in the collision. RCMP, Vernon River Fire Department, Island EMS and Department of Highways attended the scene.
