The death oc­curred peace­fully with fam­ily by his side at the Prince County Hos­pi­tal, Sum­mer­side, P.E.I., on Sun­day, Novem­ber

Olaf Law­son Mac­Don­ald of Sum­mer­side, P.E.I. aged 78 years. Olaf was born in Tyne – Val­ley, P.E.I. to the late Law­son and Angie (nee McNeill) Mac­Don­ald. Beloved hus­band of Lu­cie (nee Gal­lant) Mac­Don­ald and lov­ing fa­ther of Dar­lene (Mike) Duffney, Thane (Wilma Coles) Mac­Don­ald, William (Jenny Young) Mac­Don­ald, Mike (Har­riet Jolsma) Mac­Don­ald, Step­son Edgar (Barb) Gal­lant. Also lov­ingly re­mem­bered by his 7 grand­chil­dren and 6 great grand­chil­dren. Sur­vived by his broth­ers and sis­ters Ruth, Nancy, Lloyd Mac­Don­ald, Joyce Bramer and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides his par­ents, Olaf was pre­de­ceased by his Daugh­ter Alma Mac­Don­ald, broth­ers and sis­ters Elaine Perry, Ing­ham, Low­ell, El­wood and Lester Mac­Don­ald and Roger Broom. Rest­ing at the East Prince Fu­neral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Sum­mer­side un­til Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 15th, where a fu­neral ser­vice will be held in the fu­neral home chapel at 1:30 p.m. In­ter­ment to take place in Peo­ple’s Ceme­tery, Sum­mer­side. Me­mo­rial do­na­tions in Olaf’s mem­ory to The Heart and Stroke Foun­da­tion would be greatly ap­pre­ci­ated.
