GAUDET, KEVIN JOSEPH

The funeral service of Kevin Joseph Gaudet of Kinkora, husband of Margaret (Leard) Gaudet was held at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora where Rev. Doug MacDonald officiated, gave the homily and proclaimed the gospel. The first reading was proclaimed by niece, Christine VanBuskirk and the second reading by sister-in-law, Maureen Leard. Prayers of the faithful were led by daughters-in-law, Amanda Keefe and Tracy Gaudet. The Church Folk choir sang the processional hymn, Here I Am Lord; responsorial hymn, On Eagle’s Wings; post reflection hmym, Hallalujah and recessional hymn, One Day at a Time. Guitarists were Ramona Roberts and Gary Arsenault. Urn bearers were sons Adam and Michael Gaudet. Flower bearers were niece, Rachel Cassell and nephews Travis Gaudet, Mark Leard and Nicholas VanBuskirk. Honorary pall bearers were Blair MacKinnon, Joanne and Garland Stetson, June and Paul Howard, Janet and Roger Savoie, Marion and Wayne Cutcliffe, Edith and Roy Hogan, Patty and Mitchell Murphy, Sandra and Lorne MacLellan and Terri and Paul Gallant. Attending the service were Management and Staff of Scotia Bank, Crapaud; DVP Moncton, NB; H-Line Enterprises; Grant Paynter Construction; Fitzgerald & Snow and City of Summerside. Interment was in the parish cemetery with Rev. Doug officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
