Santa tour is 25 years old
The North River Fire Department is excited about their 25th Annual Santa Tour set for Saturday, Dec. 16.
For the 25th year, Santa will be joining firefighters to tour the area making 10 stops along the way. The schedule is available @NFRD.ca or on the department’s Facebook page.
“While firefighter are excited for the tour, they are somewhat on guard as we are getting reports that Whoville is aware and that we may be having an unwanted guest,” notes one of the tour organizers, Dean Smith.
“We are hoping that you will join us to show this Grinch that he can’t steal our Christmas.”
Mrs. Claus will join Santa again this year, and the firefighters are also expecting to see Sparky the Fire Dog join them for part of the tour.
“After 25 years we are having second-generation children attend,
which is pretty cool,” said Smith. Storm date is Dec. 23.
