Eptek exhibitions feature wildlife carvings and Pope

-

The feathers are flying at Eptek this December. The Prince County Woodcarvers Guild’s newest exhibit, “Wood Comes to Life,” will be on until Jan. 5.

The exhibit showcases their intricate carvings of birds and other wildlife.

Also on display until Jan. 5, the exhibit “Inspired by Nightingale – Dedicated to God: The Story of Georgina Fane Pope” highlights the life and accomplishments of native Islander Georgina Fane Pope. Renowned for her ground-breaking career as a nurse, Georgina was also a daughter of Father of Confederation William H. Pope.

Visitors to Eptek can also view the permanent exhibition on the history and architecture of Summerside, too.
