Lots of fun over KISHmas

- CALLIE CHAMPION AND ABBY CHRISTOPHER

This week at KISH we finished off the 2017 classes with the final days of KISHmas. Monday students dressed up for PJ Day and everyone looked extremely cozy.

The senior basketball teams won their games against Souris. The men’s team won 64-60 and the women’s team won 61-37. There was a strong effort from our junior high teams as well. Tuesday was a Homeroom Challenge Day where each homeroom class dressed up as a Christmas carol. We saw many creative ideas.

Also, the 2018 grad class had a lot of fun at their potluck and gift exchange.

Later, the junior high girls beat Englewood 62-28 and junior A boys also won 43-25. Wednesday there was a lip sync/karaoke activity at lunch. We got to see some very funny and unforgettable acts that the students put on.

After school, badminton club was open to everyone and our junior high girls had a basketball game.

Thursday was Dress Your Best Day and everyone looked great.

Also, our junior high AA boys challenged Hernewood. Friday was the last day of KISHmas as students dressed in our school colors (green and white), adding red for holiday spirit.

Excitement filled the halls as students were excited for the Christmas break.

On behalf of the students and teachers at KISH, we’d like to wish you all a very merry Christmas full of fun and memories. We look forward to seeing all KISH students and teachers in the New Year.
