Busy start for Lauren Lilly at TOSH
Grade 10 student competing in four PEISAA sports

SUMMERSIDE – Lauren Lilly has enjoyed a busy start to her high school athletic career.
The Grade 10 student has been named the Greco Pizza/Capt. Sub studentathlete of the month for November at Three Oaks Senior High School in Summerside.
The 16-year-old daughter of Ian and Carol Lilly of Summerside played the power position for the Axewomen’s senior AAA volleyball team in the fall. She currently plays point guard and wing on the senior AAA girls’ basketball team, and will also compete in badminton singles and doubles. Lauren plans to play softball in the spring.

Lauren is also very active in sports outside of school. She played provincial basketball three years ago, and played second base and shortstop with the provincial under-16 female softball team last summer.
Garth Turtle, who coaches the Three Oaks senior AAA girls’ basketball team, said Lauren has huge potential, is extremely athletic and is a great teammate. “Lauren is a very hard worker in practice,” noted Turtle. “She is a coachable student-athlete with a great attitude.”
Lauren’s future plans following high school are undecided.
