The Martha Spirituality Centre at SDU Place on Great George Street in Charlottetown is offering a number of new programs for 2018.
Meditation and the Brain Course
with Louise Carota is being re-offered in a series of four sessions on Friday evenings from Jan. 12 until Feb. 2 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Topics include Understanding Stress, Getting to Know your Brain, Quantum Reality and Mapping Your Inner Space. Donations will be accepted each evening. Register required as there are limited spaces remaining.
Lunch and Learn Grace Series
is a seven-part series being offered on Monday afternoons from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. from Jan. 15 until March 5 and includes tea/coffee and biscuits. Titles include the Grace of Earth, the Grace of Atmosphere, the Grace of Oceans, the Grace of Fresh Water, the Grace of Land, the Grace of Plant Life, and the Grace of Animal Life. Cost is $30 for the series payable at the first session. Facilitated by Sisters Gemma Dunn and Debbie Peters.
Enneagram Workshop
is being offered in a series of Wednesday mornings from Jan. 17 to Feb. 21 from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
This workshop, facilitated by Anne Gillis, invites participants to explore the nine systems of personalities for self-knowledge, awareness of differences and spiritual guidance. Workshop presenters claim, “If we can look at reality from all nine perspectives, then we can begin to contemplate the world with the eyes of God.”
Cost is $50 per person or $90 a couple and includes a binder of materials. Register by Jan. 12.
