Sellick, Tuplin, Handrahan spark Aces
Three players recorded six points to lead the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to an 11-5 road victory over the Georgetown Eagles on Tuesday night.
Dawson Sellick scored four goals and added two assists, Will Tuplin netted a hat trick and set up three others and Brayden Handrahan was credited with six helpers in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League contest played at the Three Rivers Sportsplex.
Colton Chaisson (1-2), Drake Smallman (1-1), Chance Pitre (1-1) and Brydon Smith (1-1) also scored for the Aces, who are now 13-6-2 (won-lost-overtime losses).
Brett Ramsay (2), Keaton Horne (2), Ben Boulter and Lexin Gaudet also chipped in with assists.
Drew Christensen (2-1), Dawson McCarthy (1-3), Jaden Nantes (1-1) and Jarrett King replied for the Eagles (1-19-1). Ethan Batchilder (3), Kyle Murphy and Brett Hicken added helpers.
The Aces held period leads of 5-2 and 7-4.
Overall, Tignish outshot Georgetown 56 23. Kristen Clemens earned the goaltending win.
