Vernon River woman sentenced on impaired charge

SUMMERSIDE – Mindy Mari O’Donnell, 33, of Vernon River has pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while also having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit and dangerous driving.

The charges are from Sept. 14, 2017, in BordenCarl­eton. O’Donnell was sentenced to 30 days in jail, which she received permission to do intermitte­ntly.

She must also serve 18 months of probation, is prohibited from driving for 12 months and must pay $200 in victim surcharges.
