Week of exams, sports and music

This week students at KISH had a very successful and busy week full of exams. MONDAY – our senior high women’s and men’s basketball teams both defeated Three Oaks Senior High.

The band started selling their candleligh­t dinner tickets. TUESDAY – the Junior High girls and boys AA basketball team challenged SIS. Meanwhile, the boys A team had a practice. WEDNESDAY – the senior high students wrote their block C exam.

The badminton club had another open practice for anyone who wanted to go. They practice every Wednesday from 2:30 to 4 p.m., so if you are interested in participat­ing, feel free to stop in and try it out. THURSDAY – our high school students wrote their block A exam.

The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competitio­n took place for junior high students.

Our junior girls basketball team played against M.E. Callaghan, the junior boys A team played against École sur Mer, and our junior boys AA team played M.E. Callaghan. FRIDAY – the seniors wrote their block B exam.

The Intermedia­te Honors Band Weekend started off, and will continue until Sunday.

The junior girls are representi­ng KISH at the M.E. Callaghan tournament this weekend.

Next week at KISH, Senior High students will write their final block D exam on Monday. Good luck!

There is no school for senior high students on Tuesday, and no classes for all students Wednesday due to the End of Semester Administra­tion/School Goals Day.
