Fiddlers’ Sons joined by Keelin Wedge set to bring the music.
The second instalment of the Trinity United Concert Series is happening this weekend with Eddy Quinn and Fiddlers’ Sons joined by Keelin Wedge set to take the stage Sunday afternoon.
This will be the award winning folk music group’s first time back to Summerside since appearing before a sold-out crowd at Harbourfront Theatre last summer. Fiddlers’ Sons features singer-songwriter Quinn on lead vocals, guitar and fiddle, Keelin Wedge on vocals, guitar, fiddle and bass, songwriter John B. Webster on vocals and guitar, and Courtney Hogan-Chandler on fiddle.
The group will showcase tunes, stories and songs from their recently released album “Fiddlers’ Sons The Best of Twenty Years.”
There will be copies of the new CD along with Quinn’s book “Island Characters” available for sale. Admission is $15 at the door and the concert runs from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 18 at Trinity United Church in Summerside.
