Home and lifestyle shows back in Charlottet­own

Those looking to build, buy, renovate or landscape will want to make weekend plans for the P.E.I. Provincial Home Show, opening at Charlottet­own’s Eastlink Centre today and running March 9 to 11. Visitors to the show will also have access to the Island’s one-of-a-kind showcase of healthy living and leisure activities: P.E.I. On The Move.

“We’re excited to welcome back a diverse group of new and returning exhibitors this year,” said senior show manager, Denise Miller. “Coming into spring, everyone wants to get plans in motion to spruce up their space. From energy efficiency, to renovation, or new home design – this show’s got you covered.”

This year marks the P.E.I. Provincial Home Show’s 34th

edition and will offer visitors the chance to shop, learn about the hottest new products, get expert advice, find inspiratio­n for their home, and plan large and small renovation­s. Admission for adults is $6, students and seniors are $4, and children under 13 are free. On Friday from 12 to 9 p.m., visitors receive half-off admission.

P.E.I. On The Move is a unique leisure show focusing on hobbies, sports, recreation and healthy living.

“This is the third edition of P.E.I. On The Move, and there’s more to see than ever before,” said show manager, Brian McKiel. “Our lives are becoming faster and busier by the day. This show is the place to come pick up a new hobby, and find ways to beat stress and create a healthier lifestyle.”
